I was heartbroken, from a friendship that smothered my self confidence. A break was needed and the Tango floor became a sanctuary for me; a place of unexpected movements, reflecting my inner state and self beliefs.

It was in this place that I began to rediscover connection, which lead me to where I am today; Dancing and painting in the same place, but more authentic, from my own axe with balanced out proportions of boundaries and empathy.

Right after folding Solo Flow, the first piece of this series, my fingers guided me towards a bigger piece of paper. To move in the same way with a staccato ending, a ninety degree fold of the whole body. Showing me that an uncomfortable twist can make space for staccato growth.
